What is the difference between Silver Gelatin & Giclée prints?

Each Silver Gelatin print is made from the original negative using the traditional dark room process. Giclée prints are made digitally from scans from the original negatives printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm paper using the finest archival inks known to humanity. All prints are hand signed and editioned by the photographer and made to order.

Will you ship to my country?

We use internationally recognised courier companies to send unframed prints to clients in the UK and overseas. Each delivery is fully trackable and you will be notified once dispatched. UK deliveries are next day, non-UK deliveries typically take up to 10 days but vary depending on the location. We offer free delivery to UK clients and shipping is £45 ROW. Please NOTE for shipments outside of the UK, Customs & Duties may be required and are the responsibility of the customer.

What Payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Apple Pay & all major credit cards. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer please contact us.

Are the prints framed?

We do not offer a framing service because of the potential for damage during transit. Each print is rolled and expertly packaged using acid free tissue paper and industrial strength tubes to ensure it arrives safely. We are trying to be as green as possible and prints will be packaged in biodegradable bubble wrap and recyclable materials. Where possible we will reuse materials.

How do I care for my print?

Quality materials are used to assure longevity and the photographic prints will last for many years if properly cared for. It is important to avoid exposure to direct sunlight to prevent the print from fading.

When will I receive my print?

All prints are made to order and depending on Murray’s schedule are usually fulfilled within 7-10 working days. Silver Gelatin prints take longer and we allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. If you require a print by a specific date please contact us beforehand. During the Christmas season orders may take longer as we are reliant on Royal Mail. Signed colour prints will usually be dispatched within 5 days.

Can I order a custom print?

Yes, if you are interested in a large format print or would like an image you cannot see on the website please do get in touch with us at info@withnailphotos.com.
